North American tour ends in Vancouver, BC

Abel decided to bring it back up to Canada for the last show of his mainly U.S.-based XO tour, and it certainly ended with a bang. These videos from squirtoise capture almost the whole concert from last night’s Vancouver show and definitely capture the full energy in that crowd.

He’s not done touring quite yet, though… After about a half-month break, he’ll be all over Europe performing at festivals in the United Kingdom, Spain, and Portugal, then back to Canada for a few random shows + OVO Fest 2012 (!!!!!), then back to America to tour with Florence + the Machine for a few dates. Check the sidebar for the full schedule and ticket information ASAP!

The Weeknd’s surprise appearance with Drake in Concord, CA

The XO Crew just dropped this amazing video of Drake bringing out The Weeknd at the Sleep Train Pavilion stop in Concord, CA on the Club Paradise tour to perform Crew Love and The Zone together. This isn’t just any live YouTube video — seriously, check it out.

Is it just me, or is he starting to remind anyone else of Otto from Rocket Power…?

The Weeknd performs in San Francisco, CA

The people over at Caliber TV were kind enough to piece together front-row clips of The Weeknd’s full set from his show at The Fillmore in San Francisco last night to form this one-hour video! Nothing will ever compare to seeing this in person, but combined with the full recording of Abel’s Coachella set, this is probably the next best thing for those who weren’t fortunate enough to get their city shut down this Spring.

P.S. It might not be too late for you! Check the list of show dates and ticket links in the sidebar to see if the crew is coming to your city anytime soon.

Drake talks OVO Fest 2012 lineup

After The Weeknd brought him out at a show in Hollywood Cemetary, Drizzy Drake returned the favor at the first Club Paradise tour stop down the road in Concord, CA. Drake talked to MTV News before the show about the third annual OVO Fest, scheduled for August 5th, and you can certainly bet that there will be a huge Toronto-themed “surprise” on stage!

As focused as he is on the task at hand, however, the Toronto rapper can’t help but look forward to his upcoming third his annual OVO Fest. Last July, Drake brought Stevie Wonder, Weezy, Rick Ross and Nas to perform at yearly hometown concert in Toronto; the year before that he welcomed Jay-Z and Eminem. He isn’t ready to announce the 2012 lineup just yet, but the “Headlines” MC promises a well-rounded mix of musical guests.

“The lineup this year is kinda a mash-up of everybody,” Drake said, hinting that some of his Club Paradise collaborators will be in attendance, as well as the Weeknd. “That’s the most important show of the year to me, OVO Fest, so I’m hoping that we really make it special this year.

“The premise of OVO Fest is you never know who you gonna see,” he teased.

Information on tickets will be coming soon — we’ll let you know as soon as details are announced.
